I was going to say this too. People who saw the practice session at Nats said it was an Emma Shapplin FD. I don't suppose there are any videos anywhere of their programmes - I know they did an outdoor rink performance of their OD earlier that season but I don't think they ever performed the FD.

It's funny that I keep making mistakes about Yagudin's programs.

After someone corrects me, I make yet another mistake.

I think Shen & Zhao also used Mt. Olympus at the 1998 Goodwill Games. I don't remember seeing it @ other competitions. But then again, I don't remember every program from the 2001 GPF.

Some place competitive and athletic, but ultimately more like an audition than anything else.

I still want to see Tonya Hardings wins at 1988 Prize of Moscow News and at 1989 Nations Cup. These are totally Holy Grail performances.

He was, it was choreographed by Morozov and there is a video of the one time it was performed on youtube. The step sequence is almost exactly the same as Amodio's short program from last season...

The "lost" program I would have loved to see is Lambiel's planned SP from 2008-2009, which was supposed to be Gershwin's Summertime. At least we still got his Tango LP as a show program, but I think Summertime would have been a great piece for Stephane.

I think "A song for you" by Michelle Kwan is worth mentioning:

Though not truly a "lost" program, I wish Davis and White had kept their original Eleanor Rigby. That first outing had such potential! By the time it showed up at Worlds, it was so changed if felt like a different program.

I belive 2006 Skate Canada was the only time Stephane Lambiel performed his Geissel Drama SP. I would have liked to see it skated cleanly.

G&G performed to I Pagliacci in one of the pro competitions. I did not see them perform it again. From Katia's book it sounded like G&G did not like that program. They dressed as clowns, with painted faces, and costumes that hid their beautiful lines.

Is there a YT link for the Swan Lake program?

From what I heard, Tamara had picked the Swan Lake music for M&D's 94 LP. However, they wanted to skate to Rach2, as they felt that music expressed their style better. Their skating justified the choice of Rach2, although the judges did not give them the win.

Everyone remembers Angelika Krylova as Carmen in 1998, but here is Krylova at only 16!! doing Carmen with a former partner back in 1989. Amazing!
