    Figure Skating Broadcasts in 3D

I was just watching a UK TV promotional video for upcoming Olympics and in one shot there was a split second of Yu-Na Kim's 3-3 combination from LP program in Vancouver converted into 3D format. It was absolutely jaw dropping.
I was all giddy and now I pity that I won't live enough to see the day when skating is broadcast in 3D.
Do you think we can have a chance to see them in our life time? Don't you guys think that it would popularize the sport more?

It would be very interesting in 3D, but I wouldn't buy a 3D tv just ofr that. AAt least for now.

In Japan they broadcast some 3D figure skating programs, like Dreams On Ice.

    Unfortunately I don't have a 3D TV

I'd love it but in the USA we're lucky to get the grand prix events in low-def 2-dimension mode on the same week of the events, lOL!
