    I meant musical expression (skating to the music/expressing music) to be a deal breaker; not a lack of it.

    Well, it kind of makes sense that way -- if the expression is lacking, the deal is broken.

    I really only have a dealbreaker in pairs: unison. I want to see more unison. I'm fine with easier elements (particularly the leveled ones) if the unison is there. I love COP footwork and even I hate that they make the pairs do it.
