Post Team GB and related news

Kate - Louise Bagnall & Rory Shanahan are entered for the first JGP in Latvia this week and looked very impressive at IJS Sheffield (2nd overall, 95.73).

Penny Coomes and Nick Buckland improved on last seasons top score (WC) scoring 128.20. Really enjoyed both short and long, costumes were stunning (esp Free Dance) and much preferred both programs to last years. Due to compete at Cup of China GP.

Louise & Owen showed two good programs, innovative lifts, strong second 114.09 but reasonable distance behind Penny/Nick. Entered for the Nebelhorn Trophy.

Jenna, only came 2nd in short to Karly Robertson (who looked promising), but won the long comfortably with some strong triples, (fell on lutz) jumps very strong in warm up, less so in actual skate. Performed in practice wear. Nice choreography.

Disappointing skate for Sophie Jones/Richard Sharpe finishing 4th, he had a fall in the long. They are entered for JGP Poland.

Olivia Smart/Joseph Buckland were very impressive finishing 3rd - really hope they get a spot at the final JGP but even if not they are well placed for a chance next year.

Sarah Coward/Avidan Brown, training at 'The Pond' US, they are at the rink from about 7am - 4 each day! At Lake Placid they scored (37.09 + 55.98), and improved on this at Sheffield scoring 104.97. Entered for JGP Australia.

I'd love to see some video footage of Joe and Olivia, I think they could be a very interesting couple!

closing. while the above posts are innocuous, threads here about British skating always devolve into mean spirited gossip, mud slinging, and general nastyness.

Q: Why can't I read the competition threads?
A: Competition forums on the board are available to those with a Season Pass or a premium membership How to View Kiss & Cry
