I've been listening to a lot of classic rock during the past few months. I guess I'm feeling nostalgic.
Hugh Laurie's blues album, Let Them Talk, for the third time since I got it yesterday. I'm still not convinced he has the best voice for blues, particularly blues ballads, but his enthusiasm for the genre is undeniable, and all of the rest of the components are definitely there. "St. James Infirmary" is particularly great.
Been obsessing over Pink Martini's version of Bolero. Played it several times on my computer this weekend. Surprised that no one has skated to it yet.
The awesome Adele Girard, who, back in the 30s and 40s, proved that you can play swing and jazz on the harp.

Victory at Sea - from Richard Rodgers. An old record I managed to get onto a CD, which I have now managed to get on my computer. Always wondered why no one ever skated to it - it would be wonderful.
