Ugh do we have to? The fact that she can't sing very well is exactly why no one in the West End should touch her with a barge pole. The chances of her making it through 8 shows a week with her voice intact are pretty much zero. Besides we have waaaaaay better singers in the business.

I read Ziggy's post as saying she'd be lucky to get West End work, but her lack of vocal talent might not hinder her in the pop world (correct me if I'm wrong Ziggy). I think lack of vocal talent is a complete bar to any work in the West End....in the pop industry it seems looks and personality are the top requirement with vocal talent an after thought.

Also have to give props to Kelly who appeared to do her whole performance live with minimal back track to sing over...maybe she was genuinely ill and wanted to wait for now to perform, since her performance on Graham Norton was just awful!

He also said 'I don't think she can hope for much more' implying that it could be a possiblity which is what I had issue with. Not that Ziggy is wrong but the thought that anyone in the industry would consider her a legit theatre performer bearing in mind her really rather abysmal lack of any real talent, is pretty alarming to me. All she can really do is shout while sporting pink hair.

However if I misread Ziggy's point, I apologise and claim the ungodly hour before work as my excuse!!

    No, you're right.

I guess the only reason she'd get any West End work would be because her name would draw the crowds in. At least in the next 6 months before everybody forgets about her.

Of course in the pop world, the fact she can't sing could be covered up very well in the studio and she could mime her concerts.

i like little mix best. but i have always liked a bunch of young girls standing in a row with some dodgy choreography warbling a tacky dance tune.
I feel like I'm in a dream. But it can't be a dream because there are no boy dancers!

That was the weekend you were at ours. Wheeee. I'm still that I cried at the Beyonce/Alexandra duet.

I didn't watch much of it last night, but from what I've heard it seems that most people thought Little Mix were better.

Oh yeah PML! She was good that night but by that season I was pretty disinterested anyway after the Rhydian/Leon travesty in 2007!
I liked Ruth Lorenzo that year and JLS, so happy they have gone on to amazing success have no idea the last 2 years what happened but decided to watch the final this year.

    Wheee Coldplay!

And Marcus didn't win a single week.

I've not had the chance yet to find the articles today but there must an article by now showing how the votes went for every act and what "could have been" if people weren't saved but it went on the public vote. (clearly Janet woudl have made the final if it had always been the public vote).

I thought saturdays openers for each of the acts were rubbish. They all sang out of the tune. The duets for Gary and Tulisa were great I thought, Kelly and Amelia-Lily ruining river deep, mountain high was awful.

Sundays show was much better but Marcus really wasn't on the ball and his version of canonball wasn't very good.

Well, the final was totally shite.

Without Misha B, it turned back into glorified karaoke.

And talk about doing it on the cheap this year without proper celebrity duets. Such a shame that Louis didn't have an act left and we couldn't get to see him sing. ;D

Thank god the wailing banshee got eliminated first.

And I have to admit that Little Mix did perform better (although Marcus's "Higher and Higher" was excellent).

But Damien Rice must be turning in his grave having to listen to his beautiful song being desecrated in this way (only he's alive ).

I felt like the backing tracks were very heavy in the final. Not taking risks.

Interesting that it was very close between Little Mix and Marcus in the end, I expected the girls to win by a large margin.

Looking at the results for the whole series, all I can say is .
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_X_F...esults_summary

As far as X-Factor alumni go, it looks like the gravy train is going to end very fast for Matt Cardle. Even faster than for Leon.

Matt's second single failed to chart. At all. And the album is continuing its downward trend. Unless Syco can perform some miraculous turnaround (if they even attempt it), he's probably gonna get dropped soon.

Joe McElderry's "Classic" sold well and retailers ordered 50,000 advance units of "Classic Christmas" expecting it to be a similar success.

Big mistake. It flopped. Debuted at number 15 and slipped to 25 in its second week. Don't buy it and soon you'll be able to find it on sale.

Rebecca Ferguson debuted at a respectable number 3.

And finally UK isn't too enamoured with Kelly Rowland. Her album isn't exactly a big hit. Peaked at number 43 this week.

    So that's it.

    All over.

Little Mix might do very well given the right material (they seem to have a huge fanbase). Hopefully Misha B is going to have a long career. The rest will surely get forgotten very quickly.

And shall be replaced with new mannequins next year.

I'd say it's more likely he's laughing all the way to the bank.

An offer to earn more in the next two months than he has earned during his career so far was too good to refuse, yes.

In addition to tons of money from publishing rights and royalties, you can bet his own version is going to chart too. And possibly the album as well.

And the general public might realise he exists and he can get some concerts lined up. It's a chained reaction.

Back to Matt Cardle, he was last year's winner and he had a new single out on December 5th. Still, he didn't get a performance slot during the final. Kinda proves that Syco has given up on him already.

I think he should turn to porn now.
