I think he would make a good addition as well. And I think it would be great for him if he lasted long in the competition.

One of last years DWTS dance troupe looked very small -- Oksana? I wonder if she'll get a shot at it.
I think I will have a snack and take a nap before I eat and go to sleep.

Lacey, Chelsie or Karina are all short. He could be paired with any of them.

In the recent interviews I've seen of Chaz, he seems very stiff. It makes me wonder if he could be flexible enough for many of the dances.
    Am I there yet?

PureDWTS.com is also reporting three more names have popped up as possible celeb competitors: soccer star Hope Solo, who was coy when asked by Dan Patrick if she was going to be on the show, and Chaz Bono, who has recently started following Karina Smirnoff and Mark Ballas on Twitter. Coincidence?

So it's going to "Family members of stars, ex-girlfriends of stars, and sports stars?" Without any pretext of anyone who could be construed as B list celebrity?

I mean, George Clooney's ex-girlfriend? I realize, yeah, she's a model, but not even remotely close to a household name.

I won't guess whether or not Chaz can move--I've seen way too many on the show before I would have said couldn't who turned out to be very quick and flexible.

David Arquette has been spotted at the rehearsal studios, apparently partnered with Kym.

Can we please get someone who can actually dance? I'm afraid David Arquette will be more of a jokester like that radio host Mike dude.

I love the athletes on the show, and I'd take them over most celebrities. I can do without most of the models and reality show contestants, however.

Most of the sports people are the only ones at this point with halfway decent name recognition.

I am VERY curious to see if Val Chmerkovski is a pro this season. He just retired (because of the whole stupid WDSF/Blackpool/Olympics kerfuffle but let's not even go there) and Tony tweeted about Val's "new opportunity...." Brother vs. Brother?

And I wonder if Corky's back...we were talking after my lesson last week and I really think if somehow I wound up on the show I'd ask for him, despite his being the designated "senior partner" type. I mean...lesson with Corky? Without having to pay? Uh, yeah! It would be fascinating to see him with someone young/fit enough to have a shot.

Definitely looks like Maks is back if one looks at his recent tweets:
"LA - bound! More of the same....only this time it'll be sooo different Super excited for the next three months!!" (Aug 23)
"And just like that.....let the craziness begin " (Aug 24)

Thank you. I kept racking my brain and couldn't come up w/ even a contestant except for Kirstie Alley.
