Over the top ice dancing is fine. Kookiness in the sport can be overlooked. But over the top kookiness? A line has been crossed!!!

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this new team, they do have a lovely look together. Will be interesting to see all the "new" teams this coming season, actually. Can't recall such a shake-up in ice dance partnerships in all my years of following ice dance.

She's gorgeous, but I don't think Jammers was wrong about his assessment. If I didn't know that was Piper, I wouldn't think it was her.

Gilles/Poirier are entered in the free dance at Octoberfest (entries). This takes place October 13-16 in Barrie, Ontario.
It seems a bit early in the partnership to compete, but they shouldn't face much pressure here, so it might be a good idea to try things out in competition. We'll see if they show up . . .

Well they WERE like brother & sister. They had been skating together since they were kids and I think in the French interview I posted earlier this year that Paul even said Vanessa was like his sister. Originally Posted by sarakimm
