I would have been here sooner, but the bus kept stopping for other people to get on it. - Sheldon Cooper, The Big Bang Theory
Mao's opening to Por una Cabeza is also exquisite it's fits the music perfectly, and her movement are simply so elegant and she simply became the music:

yuna's 007 medly!
the opening pose just tells what she's gonna do in her program even without the knowledge of her music choice. so hot!
G/P's Memorial is also my favorite. I just fell in love with this program with the start note of their performance.
Chan's Tango de los Exilados, too! But it's rather about his facial expression when the music starts. That was so mesmerizing for me. (olympic performance I'm talking)
This one is also interesting : G&P 1997 Euros FD-The feeling begins
I'll ditto the G/P Requiem:
In this video, it is especially spell binding since there is nothing preceding the dance. There is something so powerful in the thumping beat and their slow rise across the ice.

Philippe Candeloro's D'Artagnan.
Brian Boitano's The Pirate and his 1988 Oly FS.
Oksana Baiul's exhibition to The Feeling Begins.
Dan Hollander's South Park opening to Mrs. Doubtfire.
Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto's Gypsy free dance.
Paul Wylie's The Untouchables and Carmina Burana.
Many of Delobel and Schoenfelder's programs had difficult and interesting opening positions. Then there were the dances which started with little mimed stories before they even hit their opening poses (their Euros 08 Yankee Polka, their 07 Folk OD, the Euros version of their Piano FD).
Probably all of Michelle's programs.
But if I were to pick, I'd choose the openings of Song of the Black Swan and Romanza.
Of course, Torvill and Dean's opening to Bolero was epic!
And I have to add Mao's opening to her Nocturne SP (It was simple but perfect.)
