    R.I.P. Peter Falk

I loved him so, not just as Columbo -- though Columbo was AWESOME -- but in other roles too. R.I.P.

He was wonderful in "Griffin and Phoenix"; a movie for TV, with Jill Clayburgh.
    I'll miss him,
    RIP

I always liked his character on Columbo - just the right mix of smart and odd. Very much like "Monk." I saw a few of his other roles and they were equally good, but Columbo really was multi-dimensional, thanks to Falk's acting. He's been ill for some time, which is sad.

    RIP

I went looking at IMDb to see if I could remember a couple of my favorite movies of his -- and there were so many more than I even remembered!

    Murder by Death
    The Cheap Detective
    The In-Laws
    Robin and the 7 Hoods
    Pocketful of Miracles
    Roommates

And of course The Princess Bride. He was wonderful in all of them.

Oh no, that is sad. So many great performances, it's hard to pick one ... though if I had to pick, it would probably be The Princess Bride.

    RIP, Peter

Wow, I loved him in Columbo and the Princess Bride but he is also so funny as Max in one of my favorite movies of all time, The Great Race.
