I'm off to the Patrick Chan threads...where you can watch a molehill become a mountain in seconds!!!
I'm glad to hear Jeremy's back on the ice. I love his skating and his attitude. Here's hoping no more injuries!!!!
Addicted to FSU
So Ten came in third () with his return to Canadian Nationals. So I looked at the ISU website to see what he'd be doing as far as the Grand Prix goes...
Grand Prix Entries - click on second bulleted entry for men's
Nothin'.Elladj Balde is listed as a new entry for Skate Canada. Did he replace Ten?? Jeremy did finish 7th at this past weekend's U.S. International Figure Skating Classic. Men's Results
So Ten is not injured if he just competed. Balde finished in fourth, just behind Ten at Canadian Nationals. Liam Firus is the third man for Skate Canada (along with Chan and Balde)...and Firus came in sixth at Nationals.
So not one Grand Prix event for Jeremy Ten? Was this done to spite me in particular???![]()

No, he was the TBA host pick chosen by Skate Canada.
ETA: At least Ten got the opportunity to compete at 2012 Four Continents due to his 3rd place finish at Canadians. However, his total score there was 159.22, #78 on the ISU's 2011-12 SB scores list.
Jeremy Ten ( @j3r3bear ) tweeted yesterday:
Big thx u to everyone who tweeted me while I was in Salt Lake! Had to overcome some big obstacles that almost prevented me from competing.
But I survived & you know what they say, "What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger." Gained some mileage regardless of the result.
Still have time to get healthy again and become the skater I know I can be for when it will count the most. Thanks everyone! xoxo

thanks
well sorry at first I was thinking of Denis Ten
Another tweet just before those above mentioned 'boot problems and ankle problems". Sorry to hear this.
Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle. Plato
