Can't skate but love to watch
Jeremy is lucky he didn't break the tibia in the lower leg. His fall sounds similar to mine when I broke my leg a year and a half ago. He'd be looking at 6 months off the ice, at least.
Hopefully, he won't need surgery and can be at least walking and starting rehab in 6 weeks. It sounds like he could still compete this season.
Poor Jeremy, I wish him a quick and full recovery - and some good luck for a change.

I <3 Jeremy Ten. He's so funny on twitter. Hopefully he can get back on the ice soon.
Wow.
Poor Jeremy.......the bad luck kid........I hope he can turn his luck around and come back healed and better than ever. Have a speedy recovery kiddo.![]()

Wow! Talk about a positive attitude! You rock, Jeremy!

Get well soon, come back better, stronger and even more determined to be the best skater you can be; and in the meantime try to enjoy this unexpected down time...
Jeremy's fantastic, what a great attitude he has - I don't think too many in his situation would have been so positive or put together such a funny update. All the best to him, I hope he'll be able to skate at least some of next season and be.

ETA direct link to Pj Kwong's June 5th blog: Ice is Slippery - as told by Jeremy Ten (re. the spiral fracture of his left fibula)@LauraLepisto How long are you in Toronto training? All summer? I'll be there in August for choreography so I hope you'll still be there!

He's so awesome.
I might even warm up to his skating now.![]()
The first link took me directly to a piece on Chan - I was quite disappointed to learn he is keeping the SP from last season. I thought he had skated it to capacity.
Looking forward to his new free, however. And the quad sal.
It's a very good SP.
But I guess you'd expect two new programs from somebody of his calibre.
So happy to hear Jeremy will be doing choreography next month![]()
New article on Jeremy.
He has taken the ice after his injury.

Back from injury, Ten sets sights on perfection Figure skater’s road to recovery paved with unexpected $8,000 sponsorship from Petro Canada
""The grant, he noted, will help relieve the many financial pressures that come with being a competitive figure skater, such as coaching charges, choreography bills, and injury costs.
I find the reference to a coaching change expense as a usual expense.... interesting.
Thank you Mr-Fan.
My mistake.
It is very late!
I think the original misquote is as beautiful as a poem.
Sadly, that poem is not to be.
