What an amazing program! Thanks for posting. And a sbs triple loop as well![]()
And choreographed by Christopher Dean... OMG!!! Its awesome when you are a huge skating fan and you find something that is pleasantly surprising. You spend hours watching Youtube and there is little by way of performances that you havent seen and then WHAM out of nowhere you find something incredible!
Very nice. When did they do this?
I was looking for the year too. Great show program.
That was great. I believe it was CSOI 1999.
Nice -- thanks for the link.
But I would say "Kurt Browning and Tara Lipinski skate a duet," not that they "skate pairs" (as in the sport of competitive pair skating), considering that there are no pair elements in the program.
I get what you're saying, but I think SBS triples passes for a pair element.![]()
Only ice is cooler than Daisuke.~ IceAlisa after the 2012 WTT men's event.
This other one with Kurt and Tara is pretty good to.

I saw it on some tv special. I think it was a Tara special in 1999? Or maybe it was a Kurt special. Anyway, it was cool.
Two single skaters share some ice and all of a sudden they are pairs skatersThose poor pairs skaters can't catch a break
Now if Kurt and Tara had done a twist or thow...that would have been amazing.
I do remember Viktor Petronko skating with a girl and their lifts were pretty impressive but she was very flexible, she skated with hoops.
Kurt and Tuffy Hough were great together, too:

And I was trying to find his country music duet with Kristi Yamaguchi...does anyone know if it's on Youtube?
So. . . um. . . no one else finds it a wee bit peculiar seeing romantic themes between a 16/17-year-old (ie, underage) and a 30-something-year-old? I can see that the sex/romance is relatively toned down for the Malaguena (and I appreciate the choreographer's emphasis on lines and shapes--pretty cool), and the second link is to a cutesy-wootsy type of number but still romantic.
Still--kudos for the nice SBS 3toes & 3sals.
tara is such a lovley skater her and kurt have such great unison and style together!!
I've seen it before but it's been a long time. Two amazing skaters. Thanks for posting it.
