I haven't heard anything so he's probably still trying out with some skaters.

There was a press conference with Carolina Kostner for the Opera on Ice a few days ago. Carolina commented also on her boyfriend's (walker Alex Schwazer) doping offense. She said that she was upset with him about what he did and that he made a big mistake, but she appreciates that he had the courage to publicly admit his mistakes. She said that he was under a lot of pressure and that she saw how he suffered. She hopes he can be himself again now.
Other than that she talked about the upcoming show and doing a number with Stéphane Lambiel (a new experience for her as she never did something similar to pairs) and about her decision to continue.

There was an interview with Vasiliev published today on rsport.ru. He talks a bit about his work with Nicole Della Monica/Matteo Guarise.
He says that he enjoyed working with them in Chicago in summer but he probably won't be able to work with them during the season as they don't have enough money or sponsor to pay him. He says that they are really great and he likes them. That he knows Matteo well and Matteo is a very stubborn person in a good way.

Thanks! I'm sorry that they won't be able to work with him again because of financial problems.

I know, but I am quite upset that many Italian skaters that want to train in better conditions and facilities have to suck it up because they don't have enough money.

So strange that Italian Roller skating is so very well funded yet ice is not.
I guess the hard thing for a lot of people to accept is why God would allow me to go running through their yards, yelling and spinning around.

Because Italian roller skaters always win tons of medals at Worlds and Euros. Italy in roller skating is like USA+Canada+Russia in figure skating. The strange thing is that figure skating is still way more popular than roller skating here.

I wouldn't say roller skating is well funded here... the best roller skaters cannot live out of skating but have to find themselves a job. Just like Zanforlin & Degli Esposti, 4-time world champs, to come up with some known names in here.

I have just found this interview with Stefania Berton and Ondrej Hotarek on Figure Skating Online. I don't think it has been posted before, so here it is:

    Stefania Berton/Ondrej Hotarek's new SP:

It was performed at the Lombardia Trophy. What are you thoughts about it? I love the step sequence.

You're welcome! I wonder what kind of outfits they are going to choose for this program.

Me too!! Something black and simple would perfectly suit the program mood IMO. We'll see whether Stefania agrees with us or not
