Hope they will be ready to participate into the JGP!
Filippo is not new to pairs. He skated with Flavia Levi at the Nebelhorn novice competition and ISU pairs camp a few years ago. Hopefully that past experience will help this new team.

    and by this http://dreamingonice.blogspot.com/20...asferisce.html

I think it's a good choice for her, since Morozov team this year has increased with Leonova and Gedevanishvili.
Plus, she said to "Gazzetta" that she needs a coach able to follow her all the time, and that's was certainly difficult with Morozov.
Thank you In the first article it's also written that Pasquale Camerlengo will be her coreographer.

Thanks Sylvia! I'm looking forward to see what her new programs will look like. Although I'm happy for her coaching change, I will miss watching her skate at shows in Italy.
Do you guys think she would be able to go to Verona for the show on October 1st?

I hope Marchei will be in Verona, but I'm not so sure if she had been invited, and if it's too close to her first GP (SA), to do US-Italy-US...finger crossed

I don't think Sk AM would be a problem (it's weeks away!)... and Kostner is listed there too, and will be in the show... if Vale is not invited, the problem is not that one, but another . Anyway, I'm thrilled for her to be finally in the US, and in a very nice environment hopefully it will pay off this upcoming season, and I can't wait to see what Pasquale will be doing for her!

Valentina wrote a note for all her fans on facebook (please let me know if I translated something wrong!!):

    Hi everybody,
I started to skate with a post-injury precautions and calm.
I'm ready to start again, in all respects.
Detroit is going to be my new training base until the Sochi Olympics, Jason Dungjen and Yuka Sato will be my new coaches, and Pasquale Camerlengo my new choreographer. I didn't go away from Morozov for technical reasons, but for organizational ones. I need a stable training base and coaches always present. Constant travels were too expensive and tiring, both mentally and physically. I am very happy I've found such an organized and warm team in Detroit, I'm very serene and confident about my choice.
The team Morozov has been my "family" for three years and the precious lessons of Nikolai enriched my technical and artistical background. Skating in America, Lettonia,Russia and Japan has been a wonderful experience. The group multiethnicity, the coexistence of different cultures made me mature in all respects. All of this will always remain in my heart!
A lot of new projects to realize are coming soon.
    Valentina

Article about Oberstdorf, with quotes from Berton/Hotarek:
Berton and Hotarek went to Detroit for choreography in June.

“Pasquale (Camerlengo) did our short to a Latin Mix and Anjelika (Krylova) did our long to “Adagio” by Albinoni,” Hotarek revealed. “We wanted to have two very different programs.”

Berton talked about an unfortunate accident that happened a few days earlier in practice. “On a triple twist, I hit Ondrej’s head with my jaw and two teeth came loose and moved,” she explained. “I am really upset, because I just got rid of my dental brace after five years and now the teeth moved back into the old position and I need another brace.”

The couple said that they have been working on the triple twist, the lifts and will try to add an ice dance look to their skating. They intend to stay in Oberstdorf until August 15 and then return to Detroit with Hausch and Wende to have their programs polished. They plan to stay there for four weeks.

Berton/Hotarek already have an ice dance look to their skating. They are really special. I hope they have a kick ass season.

    Why Adagio though?

The accident sounds scary but it's probably very common when learning the triple twist.

I completely agree, I've become a fan since the first time I saw them skate. They're also great people, both down to earth and highly motivated, they always give me the impression of being exhactly aware of what they want and how they can achieve it. IMO if they keep this spirit they can do great things.
I've seen Ondrej giving lessons every Sunday for two years and he's a very patien coach, and super cute with the little kids. I remember once he was teaching to a very little kid who was wearing a helmet and falling all the time, and Ondrey was behind him catching him every time he fell. (uhm this last sentence has some mistakes but I can't find them, I hope you guys got the meaning)
