At Fassa Ice Gala Cappellini/Lanotte skated their new SD and a tango.
Does anybody know, tango is the new FD?

I have seen Valentina a lot at DSC and she is doing wonderful! She has amazing speed and her jumps and spins are really nice. I think working with Yuka has helped! She is on the same session with Alissa Czisny, Adam Rippon, Jeremy Abbott and others.

i wished it would be, but a fear it´s just an exhibition; this program ist just brilliant; but morozov once made a competition program out of an exhibition, let´s hope

It looked like a partial FD to me.

All that was missing was the second footwork sequence, dance spin, and the 4th lift.

Update on Massimo Scali coaching at the Detroit SC (brief excerpt from 8/19 Icenetwork article):

With so many skaters at the rink and two young children at home, Camerlengo and Krylova rely heavily on Scali's support. The Italian -- who won world bronze with partner Federica Faiella in 2010 -- had hoped to return to competition this season, but those plans have been postponed indefinitely.

"Federica is still suffering from the hip injury she received in April, and besides, I am enjoying coaching very much," Scali said.

Today Carolina Kostner was at the Venice Film Festival to present The Opera on Ice, the gala which will talke place at the Arena in Verona next 1st October. Apparently there will be the possibility to see it at the cinema! They say that the show will be released simultaneously in 40 countries!

Carolina looks super beautiful! And it's great that they are showing figure skating at the cinema!!

Or is he keeping the same programs?
Please say it isn't so.
I was looking at his programs' history and it looks like he recycles them quite a bit. The Andes program he's had for 2 seasons already.
Or maybe he's not skating this season?
