Pia maybe, but IMHO James isn't as good a vocalist as either of them. He's not as good as Haley or even Casey. He's a moderately talented rock screamer. Adam Lambert had it right about him.

Big difference - Skating and Gymnastics have limited careers. Singers can and do have long careers. If you screw up the voice for one title, you screwed your whole career.

Yes and no. Lauren probably feels like this is her ONE chance. We all know that isn't true but she has obviously put a ton of pressure on herself as evidenced when she was in the bottom. So I think in her mind it is do or die while most of us know she will be fine and doesn't need to win to have a steady or even great career.

Lauren is doing every thing she can for some extra votes. Props to her. She has next to no chance so might as well throw out your voice and cry in front of your mom all you can. lol That one note was off and it was no doubt because of her voice but being an emotional song it was OK. Finally a song she could connect to.

Randy "FINALLY it is the Lauren we grew to love in Nashville." Do you know how many different times he has said this over the course of the season? She has made at least 5 comebacks according to Randy. JLo says she "may have just won." I am guessing she doesn't see the vote totals after all. Steve votes for her as well. I still see Scotty winning in a landslide even though Lauren was my favorite tonight.

Judges should know not to do a coronation. Sometimes that backfires. I doubt either's fans will vote for the other so it will depend on the neutral votes on who wins. I have no predictions.

Somebody asked if there were teen male country singers. Does the fact Beiber just recorded a country song with Rascal Flatts? There have been several teen girl stars, but the boys tend to have to drink and fight a lot first.
