    AI Season 10 Finale: It's all over but the snarking.

    Since it seems like I'm the only one planning on watching, I figured I'd go on and start the thread so that I may begin conversing with myself.

    If anyone else is reading, what's this I hear about Lauren being out???

    I am not sure - it is being reported on TMZ according to some. I will watch just to find out who is in the finale. If Lauren and Scotty are the finalists - meh, country vs. country and I don't like country. If Haley is brought in, a more diverse program.

    Someone in the audience tweeted that the top 13 are in the audience, including Haley, except for Scotty and Lauren. So I assume she's still on.

    TMZ broke the story ... Lauren lost her voice and could not finish rehearsing for tonight's finale.

    Producers have brought Haley Reinhart to the set and she is currently in wardrobe. If Lauren can't compete, Haley will square off against Scotty McCreery for the title.

    We're told Haley just finished rehearsing, and if she does compete tonight she'll sing 3 songs -- "House of the Rising Sun," "I Who Have Nothing" and "Bennie

    They did a coin toss to get to choose whether to sing first or last. Scotty won and let Lauren choose. Scotty's Dad makes the same facial expressions. It's not an affectation; it's genetic.

    Interesting that Scotty let Lauren choose to go last.

    I guess this song gets the crowd going, but I don't think it showcases Scotty's voice particularly well.
