Actually Miki started to show some emotions and expressivnes in her programs last season, when for the first time she skated only in exhibitions. She herself said that she used to hate exhibitions and love competitions. Now she loves exhibitions. I think she's bound to show some emotions now if she comes back to competitive skating as she has been doing so in her exhibitions since 2011 Worlds. That would be wonderful to see new artistic Miki in competitions. That's too bad she's not sure about Stephane. She could learn from him a lot.

The experience was so positive that Lambiel and Machida decided to continue their collaboration this year. Beginning July 1, they plan to work on a new short program for the Japanese skater in Switzerland.
“I’ll make a new short program with Stéphane,” confirmed Machida. “I believe that we can make a wonderful one. The short program music is a new genre to me. I’m sure that Stéphane and I can produce a new style and expression.”

Machida has enjoyed participating in the “Dreams on Ice” show in Japan this week, and plans to return soon to his training base in Lake Arrowhead where he mostly works with Anthony Liu.

Thanks Sylvia. Folks who attended the DOI show said the only other performer who got a louder standing ovation than Tatsuki was Dai. I am looking forward to seeing the SP program that Stephane is doing for him.

Today news about Lambiel's choreo work have appeared in the closed Facebook group Ste-fan. Although the group is closed, members are allowed to share this information. So thanks to ireni from 'lambiel-ru' for doing just that - http://lambiel-ru.livejournal.com/818756.html#comments . In a talk with journalist Tatjana Flade Petter Grutter informed that Miki Ando has now arrived in Switzerland to work on her SP with Lambiel. Also, he will start his work with Machida on July 8, not 1 as it was initially planned.

There's nothing unexpected (such as new pair teams). Machida, Mura and Imai are promted to the "special" athletes from the list released in April.

maybe, but i thought monna had just a supporting role in the last few years.
don´t know if this would be the right choice.

despite of that, it will be so interresting to see miki and morozov clashing together, she on the rink, he on the boards.
i don´t know how she will handle that, as she seems to be a very nervous skater.
