well, actually figure skating isn't popular in China at all,so more or less celebrities not importand

to be honest, the most famous one and will attract people to buy tickets in this cast is pianist Lang Lang...

I'm not sure whether this show will succeed or not with a weak line-up.

Certainly, Lang Lang is not a weak line-up (although I don't know how popular he is in China, he mostly performs abroad). I would buy ticket just for him.

Shen Zhao have their own show so there can be some contract conflicts.
The pairs cast is pretty awsome and pairs is probably the best known discipline in China anyway.

I would love to see Lu Chen but I don't think she skates in shows anymore.

Art on Ice is different kind of show, not mainly figure skating show but with the big stress on the musicians that include both pop and classical performers, and also acrobats. I don't think that adding some top single skaters would make a big difference for the audience that is not particularly familiar with skating, it is more the question of good marketing, sponsors and having some Chinese names involved.

There are many skating shows in China this summer, I hope they suceed, it's such a great potential market for skating.

Well, DelSchoes, S/S, V/T, and Eman are enough to convince me.

luCN, will you please let us know when the tickets go on sale in China? I'm thinking about asking my friend in China to book mine. Thanks in advance!

Just a note about making the call. If you call from outside of China, you don't have to dial the '0' of '021', the '0' is needed only if you call from anywhere within China, but in that case, you don't have to dial '86' which represents China. In short, it's either

    86-21-51509199 or
    021-51509199

Michelle Kwan would be a nice addition because of her accomplishments and her heritage.

I wouldn't expect skaters like Czisny to be too expensive and she can definitely draw in the crowd.

I think Buttle much fit much better - since when is Sandhu skating again? And they really could add someone like Verner, Amodio or Fernandez.
