Very bummed about Chicago Code. It was definitely one of the most complex and well acted new shows....something I really looked forward to. OK, Jennifer might have been miscast, but she was growing into it.....such a shame!
"When I was poor and I complained about inequality people said I was bitter, now I'm rich and I complain about inequality they say I'm a hypocrite. I'm beginning to think they just don't want inequality on the agenda because it is a real problem that needs to be addressed." - Russell Brand
I just watched the 3 minutes trailer for Ringer on ew.com - can't wait for this show!!
I really like Beals, and I was pulling for her to flesh this character out. I thought she was a bit unbelievable. Too soft, too "lost" in a way. I wanted her to shave her head and butch it up a bit. Pretty is fine, but to be a police commissioner, I just didn't buy it until later. She got better! I wasn't the only one who thought this.....seems like everyone I know who watched the show thought this, but hey-just an opinion. Like I said, I wanted it to work for her.
But all the characters-how can we stand not following them through the next bits of the story? I thought the acting and the writing were some of the best on TV.
I got caught up on the end of The Event this weekend. I will be so bummed if it's cancelled!
Although I was really hoping. Sigh.
SpoilerLeila would die of that flu because I can't stand her and Sean and CIASpyGirl are tres hot. No chance of that with superhybridbaby on the way though.
I honestly wondered if they were intending to pair up Sean and CIA girl but when the axe came down they decided to go with the more happy ending that comes in a nice little box with a bow on top. I could see them developing something and at least getting some story lines with a love triangle if the show had been renewed.
