Well a person doesn't have to be either/or. A former roommate of mine was a professonal dancer and her complaint was that a lot of the men were bi, so you didn't know who they were going with.
Anyway a lot of these skaters lead such isolated lives they're probably asexual.

To the contrary, they probably have a lot of sexual relationships with other skaters, if only on Saturday night. This is certainly what the rumours suggest. They are mostly teenagers or young adults isolated within the skating world, yes, but surrounded by other skaters constantly. Skating appears to be more incestuous than the movie business.
