Try their home rink:
Amanda Evora and Mark Ladwig
c/o Ellenton Ice & Sports Complex
5309 29th Street East
Ellenton, Florida 34222
Is that were they train now? Is there a chance they'll write back?
Thank you. BTW. do the sign their own autograghs and write back themselves in their handwriting?
Dear Amanda and Mark,
For the benefit of US Pairs skating, we the USFSA hereby request you skate until you are too old and infirm to stand on your own volition. Besides, the young kiddies need an example of what commitment means.
We had high hopes for the big lunk and diva with Level 4 mascara, and we are absolutely beside ourselves that he has disappeared into the night. She is crying and her face now looks like Lady Gaga after a 2 hour concert. We fear he has been sucked into the Denney void for good.
C'mon. It's either you guys or the porny guy bulging in every direction with his little tyke of a partner. A little too ewww for our conservative tastes at this time. We are admittedly intrigued, though, but they're not 'soup' yet. Still, we just can't take our eyes off of him *drool mark*
As a bonus, please find enclosed your 2012 Title. That should be all. Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
The USFSA
In your letter, ask for an autograph, and enclose an envelope addressed back to you, already stamped. It will definetly increase the chance of a response. They are both so nice,, so I would think.they would do it, but I don't know how much fan mail they get...if it is alot, it is hardwr to.respond to.
Amanda is on vacation this week so there will be a little bit of a time lapse if you write them right now, but yes, they are very good with their fans and try to get responses out as soon as possible. The offseason is the best time to write them because they aren't usually as busy. Good luck!
olympic-Your letter just made my entire night, LOL![]()

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Frankly, it's a lot of pent-up giddiness from theof the season
While on the topic of sending something to skaters- where would I be able to send something to Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir?
Thanks in advance!
Lol. Just love evora and Ladwig. Have loved them ever since their super emotional skate at nationals in 2010. To be honest I dunno whether they will ever break into the top 5 at worlds but it would be fantastic for them to become us national champions !! All their pairs elements are great. If only they can getmore consistent on the 3 toes ...
A result equal to Y/C this year is entirely possible IF they can land everything. Their programs are very CoP friendly. Their score at CoR with mistakes in the LP was close to 111 pts. and was higher than Y/C at that point.
Assuming they would be the #1 US Pair with Y/C and D/B gone, and M/B still forming, they would have the full push of the USFSA behind them, too.
I was going to start a new thread for this article, but in deference to olympic's tongue-in-cheek post above, here's a Florida article titled "Will Ladwig, Evora survive pairs splits?": http://www.bradenton.com/2011/05/09/...ive-pairs.html
I believe Amanda is still on vacation (or has just returned to Florida, I'm not sure which) so I'm not surprised there's no word from them yet. I know they're taking their time with their decision and I don't blame them. I'm sure they'll make the best decision for themselves and while I selfishly hope they continue skating, I would totally understand if they wanted to retire. If I hear anything regarding this issue and am allowed to share it, I will do so here as soon as possible.![]()
