Terrible news!!! Nat'l Champs and 6th in World! From my previous posts in another thread, my intuition so far is on track----I am expecting the announcement of John pairing with Caydee Denney!! Then I will go buy a lottery ticket

I'm on my phone so I can't open the article - but do they give any reasons? I don't understand why they would split after such a great year

I'm really sad about this. The best pairs team the US has had in ages, and they're both such nice people. I'm glad they had this emotional season together, and wish them all the best in the future, but I"m sad we'll miss seeing how they could have developed together.

This is so sad. I really enjoyed this team.
What is up with US Pairs skaters? They get a year or two of success and then bail. Will we ever see another US pair on the Worlds Podium?

Completely unexpected after finishing 6th at freaking worlds!
This right here just tells me that there's no reason whatsoever to get invested in American pairs. Even when they do well, they split. I'm freaking done!
