Mao and her biographer (they've been releasing an annual biography for several years now) released a biography covering 3-months of her life leading up to Worlds 2011 as a charity book. In other words, neither Mao nor her biographer will receive financial profit for this book; it will all go to quake charity.

The book, priced 1000-yen, is not sold in bookstores and must be ordered on the publisher's internet site; the only advertisement for the book was a press release, but the book has sold 7000 copies within 3 days, meaning 7 million yen, or approximately $86,000 going to donation.

The book will be available for order until 31st May.
