Could Joannie Rochette have won the world title with a full season competing.

I am thinking yes this year could have been her best shot afterall she beat all the same competitors at the japan open minus Yuna who wasn`t at her best.

Maybe, but she didn't, so we will never know. But you can dream.

Well, yeah, she probably could have, kind of like half the girls there could have, given most of the performances (though Miki was pretty on, especially compared to everyone else).

But she didn't go, so it's yet another hypothetical on FSU. We're good at those.

I have no idea because I have no idea how her season would have went if she had done the full season! However, with her usual performances I think she would have finished 2nd or 3rd. I would see her beating Kostner for sure if she went clean.

And with her usual performance, Yu-Na Kim would have won over Ando by 30 points, not to talk about Mao

Probably yes, but then again had Yu-Na not competed, we could have had this same thread about her. You never know.

I don't think so. Consistency has been a major issue for Joanie.

No. Rochette's TES (SP+FS) at Vancouver would be around 93 points under the current rules. It's 7 point lower than Ando and 2 point lower than Kim at Moscow. I don't know she has ever skated anything better at any international competitions.
