I thought about that when Lauren and Scotty were singing.

What on earth is Casey doing?

Go hide in the bathtub with kid and assorted pets.

But later, catch Casey's performance. Not my style of music, but interesting and refreshing to see on the Idol stage.

    stay safe!

I really liked that from Casey. James and Casey would make an Idols tour interesting. We could go look at merchandise during Jacob and Scotty's numbers

    I agree.

Hopefully Haley won't wear that weird headband.

Wow. Listening to the singers on The Voice I missed and going back to AI really makes the difference stand out. This chick from Tacoma Gen mentioned is fantastic.

It seems we're in the clear for now. Thank goodness.

Is James' number 5704? I haven't voted this year, but since I missed his performance (as did all of North Georgia ), I'll be hitting redial all night.

5704 and 5710 (if you're going to call rather than text.)

I thought James, Casey, & Haley were really good. Scotty's pronounciation is really getting on my nerves. You can be from the South & still not sound like a cornpone hick. I can't even critique his singing because his voice just grates on me.

James & Jacob's duet was pretty awful, except the parts where James was singing alone.

I wasn't familiar with Haley's song. I thought that was really beautiful. Once again she gets the only real criticism of the night.

It's from the Tapestry album. I thought she did a great job! And I thought the same thing re: the criticism.

You can vote 50 times online as well. It's like voting was on Rock Star, though. You sometimes have to guess what letter/number is meant to be. And you'll most likely be wrong.

I kind of like Carol King, but I thought tonight was meh.

James was pretty good, but the gratuitous screams every week are annoying. I didn't think his performance was that special. And the fact that the judges raved so much about it shows the lack of any real standout performances this season. Did not like the duet with Jacob at all. I'm good with Jacob going tomorrow.

I'm also tired of the grunting from Casey, though at least he did something interesting with his song. In contrast, I'm bored with both Lauren and Scotty. There are some country singers on The Voice who are better. But, I know these two and James will be the top three.

Haley will be bottom three again, even though she doesn't deserve to be.

I'm glad Crystal is going to be on tomorrow. Now she did Carol King justice.
