Me too. I've switched to Little House on the Prairie. Seriously. NBC now officially owns the singing competition show.

She was worse the 2nd time around. How that deserved a standing ovation or those comments, I will never know. Officially changed the channel now.

Stacy may have a good voice, but I didn't really enjoy listening to that audition - too shrieky for my taste.

I really, really wish Fox would dispense with showing those kind of auditions that aren't funny, aren't remotely entertaining, and are offensive and/or disgusting with no redeeming factor whatsoever. I mean, do they *want* that kind of first impression of what this show is going to be like? I don't blame Paula one bit for leaving the judge's table - I'd hurl too if I'd been subjected to seeing that jerk's shlong.

Also, they ditched Cheryl Cole for P-CatTwat Nicole . Bad move, guys.

What's annoying is that guy had to go through the early auditions to make it to that stage, so it's hardly like the show was surprised by him or his act.

One reason I liked The Voice is that they started with pre-screened singers who had already met a minimum threshold of talent.

It'd be funny if they had a better impersonator who could do the proper accent

I'm really missing The Voice. I don't want backstories. I don't want flashing hippie bloggers. I don't want cutesy 12 year olds. I don't want screaming harpies. Guess I don't want this show.

I recorded it. Is there anything worthwhile for me to bother watching?

I watched a bit, but found it boring after a while. The only part I enjoyed was the totally adorable Cheryl Cole, but they dump her midway through.

I started the show, but didn't stay around for the second hour with Nicole. I'll probably try it again once they get past the initial audition stages, but nothing really grabbed me.

I'm curious about how the show will do.

How many of you who watched tonight will watch it again?

I won't bother until the live shows. I'll just watch The Middle or catch up on stuff I've got on DVR.

I watched. I'll watch again because I like these kind of shows (and Simon!) and you don't really have to pay close attention to watch (and I can tape Survivor and Harry's Law and watch when I'm not sleepy ). But man was I bboorreed! They need to pick up pace .... drastically!

The thing about American Idol and the bad auditions is .... those are funny. The set up with Ryan, the judges, the incredible arrogance of the auditioner, its all produced to be funny (to me anyway!). These bad auditions were just .... bad.

But I loved Rachel Crowe! She was so spunky. She's the kind of kid that you know whatever she does in life, she will be a great success at. I wish I had personality like that.
