FSU is mentioned! Well, I doubt she means OUR little FSU but let's just roll with it, shall we?

I’m asking You, because if I knew, I’d be doing it, Youdammit.
I really want to read her new book. Can't wait until it hits my library.

I know this is a gush thread, but I could do without this part. Way to blame the victim, Tina.
May she be Beautiful but not Damaged, for it’s the Damage that draws the creepy soccer coach’s eye, not the Beauty.

I also assumed she meant Florida State University...

that's a charitable way to read it. But a kid who's been 'messed with' by the creepy soccer coach will not read it that way at all.
Everyone would love to believe that they can distinguish themselves from people who suffer those kinds of predations. She's no different. I just think it's never that simple.

that part cracked me upAnd when she one day turns on me and calls me a Bitch in front of Hollister, Give me the strength, Lord, to yank her directly into a cab in front of her friends, For I will not have that Shit. I will not have it.![]()
Love it. Reminds me of something Anne Lamott would come up with, slightly more irreverent. I especially like "break the internet forever"
This was my favorite part:
May she play the Drums to the fiery rhythm of her Own Heart with the sinewy strength of her Own Arms, so she need Not Lie With Drummers.

^ Mine too, Manleywoman. (and I ain't sayin' nothin' about my own experience with drummers ... )
Hmm, this Tina Fey has some talent, I think she might have a future in comedy.
