GOOOOOOOOO MK! The true KWEEN of figure skating.![]()
I wouldn't be surprised if she's continuing to make appearances at corporate functions and whatnot. Maybe not motivational speaking, but meets and greets. I think she did some of this for GE at the Olympics.
If she's doing that kind of work, it would be paid. But of course listing that publically would be not in keeping with her image.

This too will pass away.
Michelle never stop surprising me!!
Kween Kwan: Her legendary Salome, first of five World titles (should have been more), changed the sport. As commented in the link, Lu Chen's performance was quite beautiful and competitively challenging, while Michelle's performance was breathtaking, kwanderful, beyond competitive, and the beginning of an amazing journey.

I don't know if this was previously noted, but a few years ago, the Kween was named one of the Godmothers of the then new top-of-the-line cruise ship, Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas. A huge lovely picture of MK mounted onboard the ship is the centerpoint around which pictures of the other lovely Godmothers of this ship, revolve (the others are: Keshia Knight Pulliam; Gloria Estefan; Jane Seymour; Dara Torres; and Daisy Fuentes).
It's great to see her doing so well and taking advantage of these opportunities, paid or not. She rocks. The end.![]()
Inspiring Mirai Nagasu!
Maybe it was GE Healthcare. I was on assignment there at the time, so I remember reading the internal articles about it. Great company, btw. Totally worthy of the Kween!
And Civic, I agree with you, I just think her people try to avoid her being portrayed as "just another professional athlete." And really, she's not, so it's worked!

She reminds me of Shirley Temple! Oh my this does age me!
Michelle was chosen as a co-chair of the IOC Women's conference designed to promote women's involvement in sport and the uppler levels of sports management.Michelle!!
(sorry if this is a duplicate, but I didn't see it posted already).

What does her getting paid have to do with anything? I am sure she has millions and could easily let her skating career be her greatest achievement. I actually find her motivation very inspiring because I am 100% sure if I had all those millions I would not have any type of motivation to further my education, as much as I would like to think I would. I think this why many find Michelle's post skating achievements very admirable.
I love her, even if not skating !
