I'm looking forward to see how many emmy noms the series gets.

I was thinking that too. I'm not sure. Fantasy does not usually do well. I will be interesting.

Showtime's Borgias and Starz Camelot and Spartacus may get some main actor nods too. Eva Green is spectacular in Camelot as is Joseph Fiennes. If Jeremy Irons does not get a nom for the Borgias, I will be highly surprised. Spartacus, John Hannah and Lucy Lawless are magical.

Joffery is supposed to be 13 and Margaery 16 in the books. I think Domer is too old to play someone 16. But then again that never stopped Hollywood. LOL

As they aged everyone a bit I guess they will age Margaery too. Although Joffrey was one of the only child characters who wasn't aged - or at least not much - 13 sounds about right.
I don't know the actress but she does not look at all what I imagined Margaery to look like. I thought she had dark hair and would be prettier. Someone had mentioned Nina Dobrev before - I think that would be more the look I would have chosen. But, oh, well.

I loved her in the Tudors. Her final episodes as Anne were amazing.

I just realized I never posted my thoughts about the final episode. A bit anti-climactic for me after the shock of losing Ned. The actress playing Cat totally killed it for me in her scene, I was teary eyed too. Just amazing acting there. The look on Robb's face - more tears here. Kudos to the actors for not overplaying that.

Very annoyed they didn't show Joff and his brute squad dragging Sansa out of bed - instead she just showed up at court. Sophie did well in the head on a stake/want to push Joff off a bridge scene. Thanks to the PTB giving Littlefinger the Hound's lines, we lost a lot of backstory on him with Sansa. Boo!

Arry is on the move! Hey there Hot Pie and Lommy. Gendry is still dark and scowling. Looks like they hadn't cast a certain man in the dungeon, so they showed some extra in a hood?

Dany and the Vacant Khal - poor Dany. She loses her sun and stars and the stallion who will mount the world. Loved the fire. Burn the witch! Burn the witch! Do Dothraki have marshmallows? And we end with strategically placed CGI dragons. Dany looked a bit shellshocked there, huh?

Natalie Dormer has dyed her hair black for previous roles, so that can easily be fixed . She absolutely killed it in the Tudors as Anne Boleyn so she'll be right at home.

She's technically the second "Tudors" queen to be cast. Tazmin Merchant (Kitty Howard) was originally set to be Daenerys but got replaced.

How about Hayden Christensen for Stannis? I know at 30 some would say he is too young for the part but with a beard and long hair no one will notice an extra couple of years. Too besides he has done this whole dark brooding thing already and has not done much in the way of acting of late so he should be available. LOL
