I am counting down the days, weeks until book 5 is released and I hope Martin is inspired to continue and finish the series because of the success of the tv series.

In case no one has seen episode 7 , I know where you can download it
Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks Emason.I have read all four samples of #5 that are out and it promises to be a great book. In the mean time I am reading Sidney Sheldon. LOL

What I heard GRRM saying about the rest of the season is that he spent a good while while (is this double "while" correct?) writing Dance with Dragons to outline the rest of the books in order to get a clearer picture. I find that very promising.
He also said that he is not really afraid that HBO will catch up with him. That might be delusional when thinking about the pace for the last two books but I am optimistic and take that for a good sign as well!
And I really hope that book 5 kicks ass again. Book 4 was kinda hard on the readers for many different reasons and I only reread it once (as opposed to about rereading the other books about 14 times!! (including audio book listenings))
One more day until everyone gets to talk about THE EPISODE. Its the best episode of the season in my opinion.

That sounds good! I am even more excited for the next one which is the one written by GRRM himself.![]()
I´m really looking forward to watching next chapter. Just two words: Tywin Lannister.
Zorry my english, I´m a verrrrrry rude spaÑish
(Thank you to all the people who kept saying, check out this show. I love it.)
Finally watched the HBO GO sneak peek of episode 7. Awesome!!!
And that's all I'll say until the rest of ya see it.![]()
I have to wait 24 more hours unfortunately. Maybe a little premature but does anyone know when season 2 is supposed to start?

Interesting article about comparing the book and the tv series so far:

There are some spoilers in there but only very slight ones.
I agree with his assessment mostly.
The things that surprised me most so far (and I think I mentioned two of them in this thread already) had been Catelyn not being the one to persuade Ned to go to the South but arguing against it and it being Littlefinger who told Sansa about The Hound's burnt face and not The Hound himself. I hope they don't cut the bonding between Sansa and Sandor Clegane completely.
And the story about this child from Robert and Cersei is just weird. I have no idea where the writers want to go with it.
And I also hope that the next seasons will have more episodes. Season 2 will have only ten episodes as well. But hopefully they will add more and more as the season progresses.
[spoiller] And here I thought I was the only one who noticed that. LOL At first I thought that maybe it was because they intended to make Gendry his true born son. Perhaps Cersei got rid of the kid because she did not want a trueborn child of Robert's to be sitting on the throne.[/spoiler]
