Question for Mac Users (Wireless Mouse)

I bought a wireless mouse for my Mac some time ago. It is great, except for one thing: it has an occasional habit of going back to a previous page, even when I am not touching it! This is very annoying, especially when I am in the middle of something, like typing on a web page or playing a game. I get cut off midtream and back to whatever page I was one before it!

Any suggestions on how I can stop this?

I've never used that mouse but it seems that it could need calibration of some sort, have you looked in System Preferences to see what can be adjusted?
