"While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is not outside James' comfort zone. He loves that song. He's been performing it for quite some time. He may not have delivered his best performance tonight, but it's definitely not because he was uncomfortable with the song choice.

I always want to call Pia ZZZia b/c she puts me to sleep. There's no doubt she can sing, but....

Pia needs those Cirque du Soliel artists around her like Celine Dion so you don't notice how boring she is on stage.

I can see her as the star in some Broadway revival production, or a lead re-placement in some production in a year or two.

What I meant was that it was not the rock and wailing and high pitched screaming song he has chosen every week. So, to a casual fan, I would think this was out of his comfort zone and his weak (IMO) performance only reasserts that thought.

ya know, all of pia's criticisms STRONGLY mirrors a lof the flak that carrie got. the only thing preventing a pia win is that she doesn't have the whole country bumpkin thing that middle america loves. and obviously the fact that the voting demographics are perhaps more skewed in favor of males than females lately.

I love Stefano's voice but it's the same thing every week it seems. I think he is in danger of going home, for sure.

I've never been a fan, so I would be fine if he just went on home.

That's true. Carrie's performance quality improved leaps and bounds after AI. It's sometimes hard to believe she's the same person. Maybe the same thing could happen to Pia, but becoming a successful pop/R&B artist is a different from going country.

Actually I hate his voice, his facial tics and that whole lounge lizard vibe. Oh, and those two caterpillar eyebrows and that tick on his chin.

What did I miss before Pia?

I enjoy Stefano. He is a good singer... pleasant, but not amazing. I could look into his big brown eyes for forever though.

I thought that too, but then I think they were all quite cozy. The only concert I got up and walked out of after paying big bucks for was Todd Rundgren. And I loved him before that concert. Never listened to another song afterwards.
Your program sucks and your partner just fell: lay down and play dead or think Feck this and do a Th3A at the end of the program: Aliona Savchenko: Definition of a competitor

    I don't think I like crazy Paul...

Is this supposed to be a song you smile through?

He definitely seems to be the most comfortable on stage. I think he sounded his best here tonight...

I think Paul's having a great time, which is nice because it's probably his last time on the Idol stage.

But I also like this better than anything he's done previously.
