Best wishes to Alexe!
I think this is a great step in the right direction for her. I'm excited to see if Yuka and Jason can work their magic on her.![]()
Hooray! It just wasn't working for her in Colorado Springs anymore, and better to try somewhere else than to give up (possibly prematurely).
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe.
Good move for Alexe. I wish Joshua Farris would do the same.
Wow, so far Tom Z has had two skaters to leave for Jason and Yuka. Agnes needs to be next...
Fabulous idea for Alexe! Broke my heart to see her so sad at 09 SA and Nats this year...
I'm surprised that she's staying on, as she's become quite tall for a skater. I wish her well.
Ashley Wagner - America's Champion and PRIDE. How sweet it is!
It looks like Abbott started a trend. Sato & Dunjen are getting quite popular.
Even if it doesn't work out as well as Gilles plans, I think more skaters, especially those in congested environments, need to take a chance on "lesser-known" coaches rather than trying to go to where the swarm is.
This is a great move for her. I like her and her skating and hope this works out.
In my spare time, I like to interview figure skating legends.
So long as Yuka doesn't make her skate to "Hatful of Stars"....![]()
I'm glad she has decided to make a change (it was needed after her dismal outing this season IMO), but I really think she'll remain a non-contender at this point.
I'm very happy for her! Hope she can work her way back into the top next year.
So where is she going to college? Is MSU or UMich?
RESCUED AT LAST!!!!
