I have also been a lurker here but as some others have said, I never miss a day! I learn so much about rules and everything it's incredible! You guys helped me a lot when I started competing under COP I knew more than my coaches!!

Great article, and Sharpie deserves all of our thanks for creating this board.

I'm just surprised that it took this long for the press to acknowledge the importance of FSU in the figure skating world. That's long been evident. When Tanith got her citizenship, a member of Congress told my colleague that he was amazed at how quickly figure skating fans mobilized in response to developments on the Hill. The congressman joked that he was going to try to find some way to fit figure skating into every future bill he wanted to get passed.

Bravo, Sharpie and the Admins! I'd go crazy if it weren't for this board; it's the only way I can keep up with all that is going on in the skating world (aside from my own forays on ice). I've been here around ten years, mostly as a lurker except on some off-topic threads, and I hardly ever miss a day. What little I know about skating I've learned here. Actually, I learn something new about something nearly every day. I'm always telling people stuff I've read on "my skating forum." I'm continually amazed by the wide array of interests and abilities of the posters here, as well as their intelligence, kindness and their genuine concern for people and issues much more important than skating. Plus, I laugh out loud a lot here. Thank you, Sharpie!

Most of the traffic originates from (in order) the United States, Canada, Japan, the U.K. and South Korea.

Do we have more posters from Japan, the U.K and South Korea than from Europe? And most from the U.K in terms of Europe?

I can see Japan, possibly, but didn't know we had so many posters from the U.K and Europe.

Since Europe is made up of several countries and stats are done by country rather than continent, the statistics are unlikely to reveal any such comparison.
