Richard Simmons does a flight safety video

Air New Zealand always do a different take on their air safety videos. This one is a classic. Enjoy.

What the hell is a Ninja Twizzle? Does it have anything to do with hard shelled aquatic life forms that live in the sewer?

Now that's a safety message that I'd actually watch

My favorite part was "if the oxygen masks come down, it's time for a breather!"

The behind-the-scenes video is pretty funny, too.

That's awesome- I didn't notice that the guy who "ducked" in the seat was Phil Keogan until the BTS video.

I love this safety video. Richard Simmons is perfect for it. Best one I have seen for any airline. Their previous video featuring the All Blacks was also very entertaining. Wish I could go to New Zealand again!

This is funny, but in thinking about it there may be even more to it -- I saw more specifics on that video than I've seen on most flight videos, and it was attention grabbling, much like the Southwest rap one was. I never realized that you needed to turn a smart phone to "airplane mode" BEFORE shutting it off for takeoff. (Not that I have an iphone or Android.

Yep, that way when you turn it back on it doesn't connect to a network.

Having never taken my new Android phone on a plane, I hadn't really thought of it.
