I'm watching and thinking, why wasn't one of the assistant coaches promoted to head coach when Sasha left? How could the NGO tell Emily she can't have a job after they saw how the family lives? Is the NGO going to restore Emily's scholarship? When did Payson regain her gymnastic skills?
I don't mind Emily, but I think she has zero chemistry with Damon. I've been spoiled for pretty much the whole season, but I'm still curious to know how it will play out.
I'm in the minority, but I don't mind Lauren. She's clearly very troubled but I kinda like seeing how twisted she can be. Her little speech to her father last night was a good example. I hate Steve though, and I hate Steve and Summer even more.
Ah Lauren is such a sociopath......
I can't wait till we finish this side plot and return the delicious Sasha to where he belongs.
Holy cow. Just started watching part 1 of the new Upstairs Downstairs, and there's coach Sasha Beloff pretending he is chauffeur to the Holland family. He needs to quit and hightail it back to the Rock and smack some sense into Lauren, stat.
How did everyone miss the opportunity to snark about the fact that Lauren has already learned Emily's routine.
Okay, so yeah. I kinda like the idea of Kaylie/Damon. They've got a hell of a lot more chemistry than he has with Emily.
I'm souring on Max because of his interest in Lauren. Why can't Payson have a guy interested in just her?
I'm soooooo sick of Lauren playing the mommy card. I hope it loses its effectiveness eventually.
Emily is so annoying lately. She really needs to lay off her mom. She's just coming across as an ungrateful little brat.

The best thing about this week's episode is that
Spoilerit's the last week we'll have to suffer without Sasha Belov! He's baaaack next week, thank God.
god, when will
Spoilerthey reveal that Emily's pregnant?? We never see Emily doing gymnastics anymore, or even out of a damned baggy hoodie - except one shot at the meet where the baby pooch was clearly visible!
I was aggravated at how Lauren even got Summer to fall into her "I promise this is the last time" routine - but thrilled that in the end she sees through Lauren's schtick.
I know the guys are totally secondary, but I wish they'd at least pretend that these meets involved male gymnasts too. And what's up with Max practicing the parallel bars in cargo shorts
Can't wait for
Is it a sign of how tired I am of ABC family's BS that, when I saw Emily getting an Ultrasound in the previews, I was praying she had cancer?
Yay, Sasha's back!
I continue to like Kaylie/Damon. Too bad nothing will ever come of it because of Emily being pregnant. I'd rather have Kaylie/Austin anyway.
Ivanka isn't a Russian name is it? I thought it was like, Czech or something?
The Kim and Steve scenes were nice. Steve actually seemed likable for once.
Did anyone see Kaylie in a small part on Castle a few weeks ago? She played a swimmer's ex-girlfriend with a heavy Brooklyn accent. The guy who played the first coach who had the affair with Kaylie's mom was also in the episode as a swim coach.

Having Sasha back immediately elevated this episode above the lameness of the last few. Now that he's back, I hope we never have to see Darby again. (Also, I at how this show continuously throws in unintentional Sasha/Payson 'ship moments, like Lauren continuously referring to him as Payson's boyfriend, Sasha waking Payson up in the middle of the night when he comes back from Romania, etc. So inappropriate, yet so hilarious.)
This episode was all kinds of awesome. There was a lot of snorting on my part with that ending.
I liked this episode!
Curious: have we heard from/seen Payson's sister in ages? I like how she randomly appears whenever she's useful, then disappears for months.
OMG the drrrrrrrrrrrama of this episode! So much was laughable, but my favorite moment was that they bothered to show a screen at the Big Meet that says Tabulating Scores...
Emily is irking me, and she's usually my favorite. She dumps Damon "for good" because he let Kaylie sing a song with him?!? And then the poor dear has to learn she's pregnant from some Hungarian head coach while being accompanied with her former new again coach. I guess they don't have HIPPA laws there. At least now we don't have to see Chelsea Hobbs slouching around in the baggiest gymnasticswear ever invented anymore. BTW, didn't Emily and Damon sleep together like 2 weeks ago max? that's some mighty refined pee test they've got going on in Hungary.
When the girls made their ridiculous escape from Darby in the airport, all I could think about was how gross sliding yourself under a bathroom stall door in an airport would be .
I did like the scenes with Steve and Kim, and am wondering when he's gonna let the cat out of the bag about Lauren sending that video. You know it's going to come out eventually...
The way they were talking about Emily, you'd think she was dead.
Chelsea Hobbs, who plays Emily gave birth to a girl last week. I wonder if and how they will have Emily return?
