DWTS 3/28 Season-opener~week two (threads merged)

Scores and standings carrying over after last week:
    (c=cha cha cha; f= foxtrot)

    1. Ralph & Karina (f) 8+8+8= 24
    2. Kirstie & Maks (c) 8+7+8= 23

    3. Chelsea & Mark (f) 7+7+7= 21
    3. Hines & Kym (c) 7+7+7= 21

    5. Romeo & Chelsie(c) 7+6+6= 19
    5. Chris & Cheryl (c) 7+6+6= 19

    7. Petra & Dmitry (f) 6+6+6= 18
    7. Kendra & Louis (c) 6+6+6= 18

    9. Sugar Ray & Anna(f) 6+5+6= 17
    10. Wendy & Tony (c) 5+4+5= 14
    11. Mike & Lacey (f) 5+4+4= 13

I watched without following the thread last week to be sure that
my opinions were really my own! I liked Disney girl (Chelsea),
Ralph, and Kirstie the best and then Hines and Sugar Ray were in
my next tier. I wasn't sure if Ralph seeming so good was just
because of the contrast to what I was expecting after seeing
him in his package. We'll see how things look this week now
that expectation levels have been set by week 1.

DWTS 3/28 Karate Kid vs Kirstie

And we're off. Thank goodness the president wrapped things up on time.

ETA can an admin merge the threads? We posted at the same time.

Hines looks more relaxed this week during the intro.

Khloe Kardashian tweeted asking everyone to support her godfather - Sugar Ray (Anna retweeted which is how I saw it).

Sloppy in parts but a lot of personality and charm. For once I actually think Bruno gave useful feedback.

I'm afraid Sugar/Anna may be in trouble tomorrow. They were last in a TV guide poll which means the public may not be impressed. (((((Anna)))))

I like Sugar/Anna.. Hope Kristie does as well tonight.. she's the key reason why I'm watching this series so early.. I usually just show up for the last half dozen shows not the whole thing..

Could be, but he was above Petra and Wendy in the TV Guide poll. It's hard to tell.

Why does Louis always get the headcase that needs to feel feminine and pretty?

The color of Kendra's dress is absolutely gorgeous! I like that she's giving this a try. I wasn't too fond of her last week, but I appreciate the effort. And she danced the quickstep better than she did the cha cha last week.

Kendra's improved some from last week. Just dreadful music for a Quickstep.

ACK! I was sure the president's speech would run over, so I started watching a DVR of House Hunters. But I have to know which house they buy! The turn-key property that's over budget, the fixer-upper with low price tag, or the colonial that's within the budget but has a long commute?

(The chose the turn-key property that's over-budget. The colonia was WAY cuter, and since when is 20 minutes a "long commute"? )

And the DVR FAILED. I hate my DVR. And they didn't even pick the right house. I like Kendra's sparkly, sparkly dress. She looks as elegant and lady-like as she can. It's a nice foil for Carrie Anne's metal gauntlet boob.
When hugging a grammar nazi, I always say "there, their, they're."

Chelsea has talent, but that routine was too over the top. Len should flip.

Yeah, it kind of is scary, but I really enjoyed the choreography...the music, not so much.
