    Smile

I'm a little late the join the party here. But YAY, I'm so happy for Evan and for US figure skating to be recognized by "Oscar" of the sports! Congratulations to Evan and all the nominees, it's a wonderful honor and very well deserved!

Actions and facts speak much louder than words and fictions. Keep up your great work, keep winning and succeeding on and off ice, because those are the best responses to all the denial, depreciation or jealousy.

Go Evan! Congratulations on another exceptional achievement in your life! And THANK YOU for making us proud!

p.s. All finalists can invite their families and friends to the award ceremony, Vera and Evan are bff, she was there simply to support him and cheer him on at one of the biggest glorious moments of his life.

Evan will always be the 2010 OG Medalist even after his successor arrives.
Availing oneself of the opportunities that come his way as a result is entirely appropriate.

    He isn't "milking" anything!

That's the first good pic I've seen of his dad. He's a big guy! JMO but Evan looks mostly like his mom!

Agree! (though maybe Evan has his dad's eyes a little bit)

I love when camera focus is on his face at the beginning of his program. There is a concentration, confidence and power in his eyes. Well, that is what I see

I agree a bit with both of you. I think Evan has his dad's eyes and cheekbones, but his mom's nose and shape of face. A very nice blend of both parents.
