I have to admit that the pride Morosov shows is quite moving (as is Joubert's enthusiasm for his countryman).
Yes, there was so much love being given and being received in that delicious clip.
Was kinda hard to tell in that threesome who were the givers and who were the receivers.

Amodio seems to be more interested in Joubert than Morozov.

I've seen one of their programs from the 1998 Olympics, Rock N Roll OD I think, he's definitely not as good a skater as her and IIRC there was a fall

Man, how could anyone have thought that all of that ruffles and billowing fabrics would look good out there . ... but then again, it is ice-dancing

I must say that seeing this made me think higher of Joubert than I did before. I never liked him much, but this was nice.

Various Soviet/Russian coaches have mentioned that the motivation for all those ruffles and billowing fabrics was to distract the judges' eyes. If a judge looked away or if a movement was obscured by the costumes, often that judge, supposedly, gave the skaters the benefit of the doubt and assumed that they skated the maneuver with clean lines, extended limbs and perfect posture.

    BTW: who choreographed that program?

But I also read that was about showing how fast the skaters were going - "The Second Mark" for one source.
