There comes a time when you would think that reality would sink in.
If she wants to continue to compete, I say she should. I don't think medaling at nationals or making the world team is a possibility and it's unlikely that she'll be earning any GP spots any time soon. But if she enjoys skating and competing, then I don't see why she shouldn't.
As long as she likes what she does, there no problem.
I personnaly find extraordinary that a skater continues the sport competitively for a long time after he/she has peaked, especially when results are getting worse and worse. Improvement and results hopes is part of the sport, so continuying without these elements seems odd to me.
She must be delusional if she thinks she has a chance to make it to the Sochi Olympics. Her jump content is subpar. The only way she can make it is if those ahead of her withdraws due to injury.
I'm willing to bet all my v-cash she makes the Japanese team in 2014![]()
