Scotty doing well with a Garth ballad. His vocals are really solid.

This Scott guy sounds like a cross between Garth Brooks and someone I can't remember right now.

    Didn't really care for it.

I'm not a Country fan, but Scotty knows his audience and sings to it.

Scotty McCountry singing one of my favorite Garth songs. I'd love him to do Amarillo by Morning by George Strait some night.

Has the show always been so looooonnnnng?

I didn't watch for a season and I've forgotten how tedious it can be I guess.

They could've easily gotten them all in in an hour, or an hour and a half.

    Randy Travis.

To say I'm not a fan of country music is a huge understatement, but that boy can flat-out sing that genre. Win or lose on AI, Nashville will snatch him up in a heartbeat.

For the first few lines, I was actually hearing a little Alan Jackson too.

For the first time in a long time I don't mind how long the show is. The performances are surprisingly good for this point in the season, or for any point in the past few seasons.

JLo couldn't sing anywhere close to Selena, but having played her in the movie, she was more than immersed in that girl's talent and would have a good ability to be critical of any of her songs performed on AI.

Totally. It really doesn't matter where he finishes, although, I think he has a real shot at winning. He has the appeal for voters.

Naima has crazy mad skills, granted vocally it didn't do a damn thing for her but she's got a real Bob Marley vibe to her and she's fabulous, I just hope America gives her another shot because she is really great.

That's kind of how I feel about Rhianna performing Umbrella.

i LOVED naima. finally some energy after a bunch of dreary ballads. hopefully now that she's shown some more "personality", she'll go back to that r&B/neo-soul vibe i love about her.

Naima probably sang the worst vocal of the whole night for me. I like her and I love that she tried to make it original, but she just didn't hit the notes.

Some parts good and other parts not so good for Naima but she took a risk. I'm still voting for my HOMETOWN GIRL!!!
