I don't think that these spiders are even native to the USA, which makes it even more bizarre.

According to Wikipedia they are found in the States. But they are more common in Europe. I still think it's ridiculous. I am bit arachnaphobic though.

The organization said a member once discovered a mouse living in the glove compartment of her new Jeep and donated both to PETA.

The spider thing would bother me, if the bite was poisonous....other than that I wouldn't care.

PETA makes such a spectacle out of itself with idiotic displays, though, that I don't support them much anymore. I used to be a member, but I'd rather support the ASPCA or Humane Society now.

PETA's filled with a bunch of loonies. I feel bad for the people who are involved there who genuinely want to make a difference....because the only thing they make in that organization is a farce of themselves...
