Ashton's wig/weave is better this week. As a black woman, I would really enjoy seeing a AA woman not wearing a weave or wig.

more than we need another hoarse-sounding white guy with guitar, yes. and i would hardly classify ashton as a diva. she's much more smooth r&b ala the woman whose song she just sang. unless diva is just being used as a term for black female.

That's quite a feat, isn't it, to be both dull and overdone. But she did it.

ETA: I find it particularly obnoxious when contestants inform the judges that they're entitled to their opinions.

she doesnt have a bad voice but it was some random song you would hear at karaoke night in some bar with a mechanical bull, but i'm sure she will go through
