So, far Scotty is the only one I'd bother to vote for. I'm looking forward to hearing him each week.

Stefano Why sing the most overplayed top 40 song of the last 90 days? Otherwise it was okay. At least he was eye candy?

Damn, another hour til 20/20 comes on to watch the Charlie Sheen meltdown. I need some real entertainment.
I meant to take the high road.... but I missed the exit.

The ad for Paul when he raised the bird from the dead and then eats it cracks me up.

Paul does kind of have the scratchy Rod Stewart voice... along with Sammie Davis' drunken stumble.

I don't care for Paul's voice or performance at all. Steven and Jennifer can have him.

Paul is sort of in a scruffy sort of way. Even if his singing does nothing for me.

    Sounds okay, but looks stoned.

ETA: He's channeling Constantine with the creepy skeevy eyes.

This is classic by Luther and Jacob did a good job but it seemed rushed.

Luther's version is slow and steady. More emotional.

So, far I've forgotten all of them except for Scotty McC.

The Luther VanDross wannabe is interesting. I could listen to him again.

Sorry, Matthew Morrison and Ms. Chenoweth rocked this song last year. No soap, Jacob.

Nothing terribly wrong with Jacob's performance, but I just found him boring.

so, my least favorite going into the semis, jacob, has ended up giving the best performance so far. such a grim night.

jacob is the best technically, but that only gets you so far, with me at least.

and i wish simon were here to call out that weird parody singer doing an impersonation of rod stewart. wth was that? KARAOKE.

i think casey is too gimmicky, and he'll end up like taylor hicks if he wins, but i hope he knocks it out just to give this show a jolt.

Jacob has a great voice, but there's something about him that I can't abide. The whole performance always just seems so contrived to me.

Thus far, I only care if Scot and Jacob come back next week. I don't care which of the others round out that group of five.

I like Casey because he is something different for the show. I think that the idol producers wouldn't know what to do with him recording wise should he continue or win.
