I saw on planete-patinage.com that Nana Takeda was listed as retired. Can anyone confirm this? ( Hope this isn't true. )

... but I wouldn't be surprised. Injury after injury in the last few years, and others were overtaking her in Japan anyway.

I'm not sure of this. I've read she retired last year, but finally she was at the Japan Nats, but withdrew after the short program. I forgot to remove her of the retired list.

Thank you, nirti. We shall see. I wonder, if she is retired from competition, has she stopped skating entirely? She was good in shows--though most shows in Japan seem to want current top competitors only.
