Wow indeed!
In my spare time, I like to interview figure skating legends.
I was sad to see this!!!!!http://www.icenetwork.com/news/artic...e_pressrelease
What the heck? This is a big, big surprise!
I wonder if this was the plan all along, or if his training injury was too serious to come back from. Either way, I third the![]()
whoa- this ia a big surprise! I don't belive it- and will they continue and change partners - lots of questions - big surprise
Not surprised at all. She seems like a very fair-weathered partner.
Wow. Despite their results, I was heartened by seeing the improvements they made this season. This is especially sad coming after Jeremy's injury that pushed them out of 4CC.
My Life Would Suck Without FS-You
Wow, this is a huge surprise
Best of luck to both of them in the future.
I've heard she's moving back to Colorado with her sister.
WOW!...didn't see that one coming.
they had a good albeit short career. they didn't improve much this season and in the pairs field, with all the new talent from Russia coming that was bad news.
I think Cadey wants to continue so I wish her a good and happy new partnership. Good lick to Barret, too!
From the news release, it sounds like Jeremy will be retiring. I'm actually not surprised; I didn't expect them to continue to the next Olys, but I thought they'd at least go for another year. Remember that Jeremy is quite a bit older than Caydee, is now engaged to Amanda, and it makes sense physically and financially that he'd want to move on to another phase of his life.
Best of luck to both of them.
I wonder if Jeremy's injury's a lot worse than they anticipated?
Imo, this is another example of how those 9-11 year age gaps that are so are frequent in US pairs these days just don't work long term.
Yeah, I've heard that Dalilah will be involved. But we'll see...To train with Delilah?
So much for their "we're in this for the long haul" interviews! I personally thought at nationals that Caydee and Jeremy seemed mismatched. If she is hunting for a new partner she needs someone taller and more muscular. Good luck to her. Poor Jeremy, the timing really sucks for him. Injury, death in the family, now this.
I'm not surprised. They did not look good this season. There was no fire in their skating and if she grew an inch, she'd be too tall for him.
Who is a potential partner? It would be interesting if we hear Marley/Brubaker decided to end their fledgling partnership as well.Although, I understand there's a nice looking French skater skating for Russia that might be free.
Your program sucks and your partner just fell: lay down and play dead or think Feck this and do a Th3A at the end of the program: Aliona Savchenko: Definition of a competitor
Her sisters Haven's former partner Brandon Frazier just split Mandy. Maybe Haven and Brandon are reteaming? No inside information just a guess...
I'm actually surprised people are surprised by the split. Jeremy just got engaged and sees his fiancee only on the weekends. That can't work long term, someone was going to have to switch coaches again or he was going to retire.
I wonder if Amanda and Mark will retire too? Jeremy says he wants to skate in shows, and Caydee wants to compete still. I bet it would be nice for Jeremy to be able to skate shows with Amanda.
