I was just watching the news and they were doing a story on the reporter who had a migraine on air and had really slurred speech. The doctor they were interviewing said a common issue with the type of migraine she had is known as Alice in Wonderland Syndrome (AIWS). He said when people have this they think things appear far larger or smaller than they really are. Immediately I perked up because this has been happening to me since I was a child! However, it only happens when I lay down to go to sleep, usually right as I begin falling asleep. However, I don't have migraines. I looked it up on wikipedia and wouldn't you know, it is more common at the onset of sleep! Isn't it amazing when a life long mystery is solved for you?! I have tried explaining this to so many people and they all think I am crazy or "dreaming." Anyone else ever experienced this?

P.S. It can also be a sign of bigger problems but I am not worried since a brain tumor would probably have killed me long ago.
