Hehehe, good (no, great) one! We can only hope that some very judgmental people don't live in glass houses I guess.

As happy as I am to see her skate again, I'm even happier to see the sheer joy in her smile.

Thanks for posting the clip of Nicole skating to Adele. Great choice of music for her. Just validates my opinion that Nicole has always been one of the most musical skaters out there. And she looks like she is really enjoying herself.

I always loved her basic skills, her posture, leg line and stroking. Strong AND graceful, IMO.

Considering jumps weren't her biggest thing, I was very impressed with what she did jumping-wise after all her troubles and time off-ice. And of course the spins and spirals are impressive as ever. I hope she stays clean, she seems like such a nice person.

Just click on the 2nd link in post #44.

Article on Nicole and the "Skate for Love" show (plus photo): Bobek returns to the ice, with help from friends
    Excerpt:
"It's been a long process," she said. "I've been back on the ice about a year now. It took me a long time to get my balance again after six years; you really lose the rotation and all of those things. It took three months to do a single Axel again."
    ...
... Bobek has been making the two-hour drive from her home to Callaghan's rink in Naples at least once a week. The coach is impressed with her commitment thus far.

"You can't teach what she has," he said. "I hope she can come back, do some TV shows, and display her real talents.

"Her doubles are pretty strong for what she's been through; well, no, they're pretty strong, period. I can't believe she's been off the ice for six years. We worked on double Lutz the other day and I'm going to want the double Axel back soon, then the triple toe, and after that we'll negotiate."

Nicole will always be a dear favorite of mine, the 1st skater I ever felt a close connection with, and in all honesty, the 1st skater who truly made me fall in love with the sport. I am so impressed with how far she has come and with how hard she is working on her comeback trail and I am so thrilled that she is believing in herself and loving herself. <3 you Nicole!

she has made great progress in the last six months, if you check out some of the other video's you can see how she appears more toned, faster and with more flow in her jumps, her spiral has always been one of the best.. so glad she has found her passion again and is sharing it
Thanks to PI .. I discovered I'm actually a Nontheist

She still has the best spiral and natural charisma in my book.
